Thursday 22nd Feb 2018

With an even ten games on the Thursday night docket, there should be zero trouble finding a game or two for your viewing pleasure, or your DFS pleasure. There are some heavyweight matchups as well, and this makes me thankful for NHL League Pass. Washington is visiting San Jose in a possible Stanley Cup Finals preview. Anaheim is visiting Chicago in a possible Western Conference Finals preview. The good thing for me personally is that the Hawks may be tired on Friday night when they head to the Joe Louis Arena for the last time ever, and I’ll be there. But enough about me, let’s discuss a couple of hot players.

Patrick Kane ($8000, Chicago Blackhawks): Never the cheapest option in DFS, but with that price comes the consistency we all desire in such games. Chicago is 9-1 over their last ten games while Kane has been blistering hot with nine goals and ten points in his last five games. Anaheim is in town tonight, and the Ducks are 5-5 in their last ten games. Ryan Getzlaf has been very hot of late, and Anaheim will need him since they’re 19th in Goals For so far this season and Chicago is no pushover at home with a 22-8-4 record at the United Center.

Nazem Kadri ($6300, Toronto Maple Leafs): With goals in his last two games, Kadri is sporadically putting together a career season. Now with 27 goals on the year, the injection of rookie phenomes has improved the offensive efforts of all top three lines. Kadri is already seven goals over his previous career high and one point away from 50. Philadelphia comes to town tonight, and the Flyers are 5-4-1 in their last ten and ranked 23rd in Goals Against.

You can always talk hockey with me @PolkaPat.
