We have an attractive seven-game slate for Thursday night on DraftKings. There are a number of quality pitching options. I am going to pass on the expensive Noah Syndergaard ($11,800) and go with the reasonably priced James Paxton ($9,600) with his 21 inning scoreless streak to start the season as my ace for the day. Danny Duffy ($8,200) appears to be mispriced on DraftKings after being priced as high as $9,700 with a solid start to the 2017 season.
There are a couple of hitters that spike out very high on the BvP radar. Jayson Werth ($3,500) hits R.A. Dickey’s knuckleball very well, going 13-for-27 with two home runs. I was surprised to learn that Freddie Freeman ($4,400) has very good career numbers against Stephen Strasburg. Freeman is 14-for-35 with four home runs versus Strasburg and is priced low on Thursday.
